1993-1998 Belarusian State University, the faculty of philology; a philologist, teacher of the Russian language and literature.

2011-2013 the Goethe Institute in Minsk, a series of courses as part of ‘Skills Upgrade for Publishing Professionals’ project.

2018 a course in the international methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language hosted by the Firebird Russian Language Courses.

WORK EXPERIENCE

1998-1999 Minsk Pedagogical Gymnasium #3, teacher of the Russian language and literature.

2000-2008 ‘The Awkward Age’ newspaper editorial office, proofreader, special correspondent, subeditor.  

2008-2016 Publishing House ‘Aversev’, senior editor;    

courseware design related to the following: the Russian Language, the Belarusian Language, the English Language, the Spanish Language, and the Primary School.

2015-2016 private tutoring, training prospective university students for the centralized test in the Russian Language.

2017-2018 Smart Matryoshka Russian Language School, teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language.

Since 2018 Firebird Russian Language Courses, teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language.

PHILOSOPHY

I think any language learning experience should be fun. Therefore, to achieve high results I foster a friendly environment and create a genuine interest in the subject.

HOBBIES

Learning foreign languages (English, Spanish, I plan to learn Italian and French). My favourite pastimes include photography, painting with watercolors, dancing and travelling with my family.

PERSONAL QUALITIES

Responsibility, goodwill, attentiveness, and optimism. I am convinced that professionalism is constant self-development. Hence, I never lose a chance to learn something new.
