FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Russian is a state language in Belarus. The customer service and quality of teaching compare well with those in Russia while our tuition fees (both online and offline), accommodation and meal costs are significantly lower. This makes Belarus very attractive for international students who would like to study Russian!

Thanks to our original method, online learning is just as good as and in some respects even better than traditional learning. We use the platform Zoom Meetings for our interactions. It is a world leader in sound and video quality. Both offline and online lessons can be either individual or group lessons.

  1. Click on ‘Prices’-‘Public Contract’’ on our website. There you will find our Public Contract. Please study it carefully. The clauses that are to be especially noted are in bold. The contract for training is made through Public Offer Agreement. By paying for your training you accept the offer (enter into the Public Offer Agreement).
  2. If you are in Minsk, you can come to our office and we will make a bilateral contract.
  1. In ‘Prices’ – ‘Ways of Payment’ section of our website.
  2. You can pay at any bank by putting money into our current account.

Group classes are cheaper and give you the opportunity to communicate not only with the teacher but also with other students, which expands your interaction circle, adds variety to the type of exercises done in class, and gives you a chance to experience different accents and cultures as well as many other interesting and useful things.
Individual classes give you more flexibility: you can change your class timetable (no later than 24 hours before your scheduled class begins), alternate online classes with offline ones. In addition, the teacher carefully customizes the program to suit your individual requirements.
Note: according to clause 5.8 of our agreement (see ‘Prices’ – ‘Public Agreement’) the class that has been canceled by the student less than 24 hours before it was to begin according to the timetable is considered valid and is to be paid for.

Group training: if there is another group suitable to your level, then you can be transferred to this group provided there are places in it.
Individual training: if your teacher can accommodate the change, you can make the change. Alternatively, we can find you another teacher.

Group training: the money paid for the classes is not refunded. But if you have to miss classes for a valid reason (illness/business trip, etc.) and you have papers to substantiate all of this, then compensation is possible. Instead of 4 missed group classes, you will be given one individual class with a teacher.
Individual training: according to clause 5.5 of our Agreement (see ‘Prices’ – ‘Public Agreement’), all classes that have initially been paid for must be held within no more than the double-timescale for the classes since their beginning. For example, you have paid for 16 classes. Studying twice a week, you go through 16 classes in two months. Thus, you have to take all of these classes in no more than 4 months. If after the termination of this period there are still classes leftover that have been paid for, these classes are called off. If you would like to continue taking classes, you can make a new payment and proceed with your studies.

If you have, in the first two weeks, come to realize that you, for some reason, do not like the teacher or the course, we will replace the teacher, select another course or refund your money except for the cost of the classes already taken.

No, you will not. We care for our students. Before each class, the student will get new vocabulary and handouts that contain basic grammar material, examples, and space for exercises. Thus, at the end of the course, the student will have all the vocabulary of the covered level and the working notebook with essential grammar and completed exercise. In addition, at the end of their level course, the student receives grammar material in the form of tables and diagrams.

Homework is a necessary and important part of learning process. It helps solidify the covered material and make progress much faster. Besides, we do not give much homework at all! Of course, if you were not able to do your homework for a valid reason, you can do your homework together with the teacher at the beginning of your class provided you are studying on an individual basis.

Both the teacher and the student need the thematic test. It will show what needs to be reviewed, which topic you need to go back to, which material has not been learnt properly. Apart from that, you reinforce the material and train your speech skills!

The exam is taken in the form of a test that can be done either online or offline. The test result is communicated to the student within several days.

After graduation, the student receives a standard certificate. When a level course completed, the student receives one of the two certificates:

  1. Graduation Certificate (in case of successful passing of the exam at the end of the course, i.e. the result is over 70%). Such a certificate confirms that the student has mastered a particular level of the language.
  2. Certificate of Completion (in case of failing the exam, i.e. the result is less than 70%). Such a certificate confirms the fact of completing a course.

Certificates for short-term courses always look the same as the certificate of completion. If the student misses over 30% of classes, he or she forfeits the opportunity to receive the certificate of completion.
